Can I drive abroad with a WW temporary registration?
Yes, the restriction to French territory was lifted in 2017. However, acceptance depends on the countries you visit. Check with the authorities of your destination country before travelling. Spain, in particular, systematically checks vehicles with WW plates at the border.
Can a WW be cancelled after it is issued?
No. A WW temporary registration cannot be cancelled. It expires automatically after 4 months and is not renewable.

You must wait for the permanent registration. A second WW cannot be issued for the same vehicle. Driving with an expired WW can lead to a fine and impoundment of the vehicle.
