How is the vehicle registration cost calculated?
The price of a registration certificate is composed of 4 taxes:
Y1 — Regional Tax: main component. Price of the taxable horsepower in your region × vehicle's taxable horsepower.
Y2 — CO₂ Emission Tax: applicable only to vehicles less than 10 years old.
Y3 — Management Tax: fixed, approximately €11 for a new certificate.
Y4 — Delivery Fee: fixed, approximately €2.76 for sending the certificate.
